The website made it sound like this would absorb quickly, so I was a little confused when it felt so thick on my skin. It took a while to sink in and left a kind of sticky feeling, which just wasn’t for me

I was surprised by how light this feels on my skin. It doesn’t leave that greasy layer at all, which is a big deal for me. If they ever change the formula and make it oily, though, I’m definitely moving on to something else.

I got my order in two days with no issues at all, which kind of surprised me. Is it just me, or is that quick for shipping these days?

I really wanted to love Round Lab because so many people seem to swear by it, but my skin just wasn’t having it. A couple of the products felt nice when I first put them on, so I thought I’d finally found something gentle. But after a few days, I started getting little bumps and some dry patches. I looked back at the ingredient list and noticed a few things that usually don’t agree with my skin. It’s not a terrible brand or anything, and I can see why it works for other people, but for the price I expected it to feel a bit cleaner and more calming.

I kinda bought the Dokdo cleanser and toner on a whim after seeing a few reviews, and I’m glad I did. My skin is sensitive, so I was immediately like, “please don’t make this worse,” but it’s been really gentle. No tight, squeaky feeling after washing, which I hate, and after about a week my dry patches started calming down. It wasn’t some overnight miracle, but it actually does what it says. I’d definitely buy it again.

I ordered the Dokdo toner and sunscreen from roundlab.com, and overall it was a good experience. Shipping was totally fine, and my skin seemed to like both products for the most part. I did get a few tiny bumps in the beginning, but I couldn’t tell which product caused it, so my brain just went to the usual shortcut: slow down, use one thing at a time, and patch test. The bumps calmed down after about a week, and everything’s been fine since. I’d still recommend them, but if you’re acne-prone like me, don’t rush into using both right away.
